 \, but sometimes love takes us places we don&rsquo\;t quite expect. Such i
 s the case with this concert: three musical works offer three different id
 eas of love.&nbsp\;</p>\n<p>\n	Leo&scaron\; Jan&aacute\;ček based his Seco
 nd String Quartet on the deep but platonic relationship he carried on with
  a younger woman over the course of some 700 letters.&nbsp\;&nbsp\;</p>\n<
 p>\n	<em>Nicky&rsquo\;s Trio</em>\, by Carter Pann\, was inspired by the c
 omposer&rsquo\;s imaginative young nephew\; the composer himself will be o
 n hand to discuss his piano trio at the concert.&nbsp\;&nbsp\;</p>\n<p>\n	
 Rounding out the evening is Arnold Schoenberg&rsquo\;s <em>Transfigured Ni
 ght</em>\, a lush and romantic string sextet that accompanies Richard Dehm
 el&rsquo\;s expressionist poem on the transformative power of love.</p>\n
