One of Tulsa’s most engaging theater companies tells a story that has become family favorite. Playhouse Tulsa’s Little Women opens at 7:30 p.m. Friday, July 12, at the Tulsa Performing Arts Center’s John H. Williams Theatre, 110 E. Second St. Playhouse Tulsa commissioned this new adaptation of Louisa May Alcott’s tale of four sisters in Civil War-era New England and presents it with company co-founder Courtneay Sanders as the sisters’ mother, Marmee, and other veteran actors of the local scene, John Knippers and Barbara Murn. Show times are 7:30 p.m. Friday, July 12-Saturday, July 13, with matinees at 2 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday, July 14. Tickets are $19-$24, available at www.myticketoffice.com.
