LAST CHANCE Models & Muses: Max Weber and the Figure
Concludes Sunday, Feb. 3
Cubist artist Max Weber spent a large part of his career looking at the often nude human body and composing it from lines and angles. His work helped America of the early 20th century get over its tired notions of art and the human form and embrace new ways of thinking about and seeing the world. It’s never too late to gain a new perspective, unless you miss the Philbrook Museum of Art exhibit Models & Muses, which closes Sunday. Hours are 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Tuesday-Wednesday and Friday-Sunday (Thursdays are open until 8 p.m.), and admission is $7-$9. The museum is located at 2727 S. Rockford Road. Go to philbrook.org for more about Weber and his work.
