Woman Up Workshop: An HIV/AIDS Seminar for Women and Girls

The day-long workshop will be at Rudisill Library in Tulsa to offer education and information on sexually-transmitted diseases and prevention. HIV/AIDS tests will be available from HOPE Testing.

The focus of the Woman-Up workshop is on abstinence, high self esteem, effective communication skills, healthy choices, pregnancy prevention and personal responsibility. Videos, role play scenarios, poetry, and discussion groups are included to make the day-long workshop fun and educational. 

Both breakfast and lunch will be served to participants. 

NOTE: Female mentors to teen girls are encouraged to also attend the workshop. Event is for ages 11 and up.
