| Description |
Warm Wishes of Tulsa is an organization which is focused on making and collecting hand-made winter items such as hats, scarves, gloves, and blankets for the homeless in Tulsa County. Warm Wishes of Tulsa is hosting a knit-in event to collect winter items that will be donated to Domestic Violence Intervention Services’ emergency shelter, which assists in housing women and children who are fleeing violent homes. During the knit-in event, participants can create items using yarn that has been donated. There will also be instructors on site that will teach those who have basic knitting and crochet knowledge how to make a hat. There will be refreshments, door prizes, and even a Yarn and Tell!
