Featuring the Symphony of Northwest Arkansas (SoNA) Singers and regional choirs, this concert presents Verdi’s masterpiece Requiem, which has proven incredibly popular with classical music fans and newcomers owing in part to the miraculous way in which it fuses opera, symphony, and Roman Catholic liturgy – no one can encounter this work without feeling Verdi’s profound love and empathy. A highlight of the Symphony of Northwest Arkansas season, audiences will revel in the combined sonic forces of more than 250 players and singers onstage.
