The University of Tulsa School of Art presents the biannual juried exhibit of contemporary ceramic work from artists across the U.S. Between 45-60 pieces will be selected for entry in the Alexandre Hogue Gallery at TU. Ceramic artist Virginia Scotchie, head of ceramics at the University of South Carolina in Columbia, S.C., will be this year's juror. Scotchie will give a lecture of her work from 4-5 p.m. Sept. 27 in the Jerri Jones Lecture Hall in Phillips Hall. A reception will follow in the Hogue Gallery from 5-7 p.m. Red Heat remains on exhibit through Oct. 25. |
