David Halpern A Few of My Favorite Things... and the Stories Behind Them
The Sherwin Miller Museum of Jewish Art Mezzanine Gallery, September 9, 2012 - October 29, 2012
For the first time, renowned Tulsa photographer will exhibit his favorite photographs, a collection of large format landscapes, and tell the stories behind each image. Noted for never disclosing information in his titles, Mr. Halpern has written about each photograph, and each commentary will be on exhibit alongside the image. The images in this exhibit will be offered for purchase to benefit the Sherwin Miller Museum.
David Halpern is a photographer living in Santa Fe, N.M., and Tulsa, Okla., whose photographs have been exhibited in museums and galleries across America. An avid traveler, he has photographed a variety of subjects throughout the United States, and in Canada, Australia, New Zealand, China, South America, England, Italy, Africa and Greece. Some of his most recognizable images are his large format black and white prints of the American Landscape. |
