2nd Annual LEMF Charity Golf Classic

Charity event benefits the Lauren Elise Memorial Foundation, which raises awareness and support for congenital heart defects in children. The organization also works to provide care and well being to children affected by CHD and their families.

The foundation was created in memory of founders Mark and Kirsten Hilsheimer's daughter Lauren Elise, who was affected by CHD, cited as the world's most common and deadliest form of birth defect, according to the foundation's website.

The golf tournament will be at White Hawk Golf Club in Bixby and begins at 1:30 p.m. Registration starts at 11 a.m.
