Through Dec. 30 at PAC Gallery in Tulsa

From tulsapac.com: Tulsa artist John Hammer is inspired by Vincent Van Gogh, Norman Rockwell and Andy Warhol. “The subjects of my paintings are immediately recognizable,” he says. “I take the liberty of adding vibrant colors that allow them to pop off the canvas. It’s this love and use of color that continues to excite me and makes every painting feel like the first time I painted.” His inspiration comes from movies, his childhood, locations, pets and more. New works and old favorites will be available for purchase at the PAC Gallery. The show runs through Dec. 30. Visit thehammerstudio.com for details.
