Oklahoma City Museum of Art celebrates its young members.
Thursday, May 28 –
The Oklahoma City Museum of Art Moderns is the museum’s young patron group. Members enjoy OKCMOA member benefits, invitations to special events, private gallery tours, educational opportunities and lectures, art demonstrations, exclusive film screenings and art-inspired excursions. Celebrating the group’s successful first year, the museum will host a party on its roof terrace, Thursday, May 28, from 5-8 p.m.
“We are thrilled to celebrate the success of the Moderns, a group that has grown by over 230 members in one year,” said E. Michael Wittington, OKCMOA president and CEO, in a press release. “The Moderns’ passion for supporting the museum and art in our community at such a pivotal time is exciting to see.”
Moderns members and those interested in joining are invited to enjoy free food and drink from the Museum Café, Central Liquor Company and COOP Ale Works. Moderns must be 21 years of age or older. Music will be provided by DJ Blake O. For more information about becoming a member and Art After 5, visit www.facebook.com/OKCMOA/events.
